England enjoyed a comfortable victory over Wales at Wembley as Morgan Rogers, Ollie Watkins and Bukayo Saka all got on the scoresheet on Thursday evening on a successful night for Thomas Tuchel
England coasted to victory against Wales at Wembley on a night where Bukayo Saka shone. A dominant first-half performance ensured the Three Lions came away comfortable 3-0 victors over their rivals.
It took just three minutes for Morgan Rogers to open the scoring from close range after good work from Crystal Palace star Marc Guehi. And Ollie Watkins soon added a second to double the advantage of Thomas Tuchel’s side after 11 minutes, but unfortunately had to be replaced following a brutal collision with the post later in the game.
Arsenal ace Saka cut in on the edge of the box and unleashed a fierce strike to extend the lead after 20 minutes, with Wales scarcely able to muster a shot on target. A comfortable second period saw the hosts dominate possession once again as Tuchel’s men rarely looked troubled.
