Gloomy Barron Trump seen leaving NYU for the summer… after insiders revealed details of ‘lonely’ lifestyle and a disastrous night out

By the end of their spring semester at college, most freshmen hope to have a solid group of friends and a bustling social life.

But it’s harder for some than others. And perhaps none more so than Barron Trump, who may have had a more difficult time fitting in at NYU this year than any of his fellow students.

It’s not just because of his very famous father, President Donald Trump

Even if his family wasn’t living in the White House, with his 6’9′ height, Barron, 19, couldn’t blend into a crowd if he tried, and, with the bevy of secret service agents that surround him every moment he is on campus, friends don’t have a chance to get close.

Now, new pictures obtained exclusively by the Daily Mail and taken on Tuesday afternoon – the last day of spring classes at NYU as students enter exam week – show Barron leaving Stern School of Business in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village surrounded by paid guards and no one else.

In the photos, Barron ducks his chin to his chest and rolls his shoulders as he walks behind a member of his security team, with four more burly officers behind him.

While some freshmen take the opportunity of being far from home and their parents’ watchful eyes to experiment with their personal style, Barron is clearly sticking to what he knows, dressed in a collared white shirt, with a black sweater and dark blue trousers.

In fact, the black backpack slung over one of his shoulders is the only sign he is a college student.

A second after the photos were taken, he climbed into a waiting black SUV, and was whisked away from campus, with no post-class socializing in sight.

It seems to be a pattern for Barron.

Insiders told the Daily Mail in March that, going against all college stereotypes, Barron’s days on campus follow a rigid structure.

He wakes at home in Trump Tower and is loaded into an SUV with several guards, which then joins up with a convoy of Secret Service cars in an underground garage.

Those cars are then accompanied by the New York City police for the quick 20-minute drive downtown to college.

When he arrives, he is slipped into another underground car park and from there into the college buildings.

Once he makes it to class, he stays for the lecture and, they say, his secret service detail stays with him at all times, even accompanying him to the bathroom.

The second class is over, insiders say, he’s back in the SUV and headed home.

Outside of class, there’s no sign that Barron enjoys any of the usual student hobbies: drinking and partying.

Sources told the Daily Mail that Barron once tried to get into a bar in the nearby NoHo neighborhood but, they said, he was turned away for being underage.

It’s perhaps difficult to get away with lying about your age when you’re a member of the most famous family in the country. And that one failed attempt seems to be the extent of his rule-breaking.

But sources told the Daily Mail that it’s not all bleak and insisted that he does have a few friends on campus. But they added, he mostly hangs out with those friends online after school is finished.

They all have a shared passion for video games, the sources said, and Barron loves the soccer simulation game FIFA.

Indeed, on Tuesday, Trump suggested Barron would be taking a break from college life to attend some of the FIFA Club World Cup games hosted around the US this summer.

‘I have a son that loves soccer – Barron… He’s a good soccer player, too,’ Trump said.

Trump claimed that Eric and Barron always correct him from saying ‘soccer’ and tell him to call it ‘football’ like the rest of the world.

‘I don’t know if I’m supposed to say soccer or football because every time I say soccer Barron and Eric say «You’re really saying it wrong, it’s supposed to be football.» But we know it as soccer,’ Trump said.

Meanwhile, very little is known about Barron’s love life on campus, although insiders suggest that may be because there is very little to know.

His half-brother Eric Trump insisted last October that Barron was the ‘most eligible bachelor in the world’. And an anonymous source told People magazine last year that, ‘He’s really popular with the ladies… A lot of people seem to think he’s pretty attractive — yes, even liberal people like him.’

Sadly, sources at NYU suggested that isn’t translating into much luck in reality, with one telling the Daily Mail in March, ‘He’s hardly here long enough to chat with anyone let alone flirt’.

Better luck next year.
