The top 10 airports for business travellers have been revealed – and Heathrow hasn’t made the cut.
The Booking.com for Business study analysed 50 of the world’s busiest airports based on factors such as the number of business class routes and proximity to the local business district.
It comes as global business travel spending is forecast to climb to £1.2trillion by the end of 2025, before accelerating with 8.1 per cent growth in 2026.
London Heathrow Airport came in 11th spot with a business travel score of 7.24 out of 10. This is despite having 46 lounges – the highest number of all airports analysed.

1. Dubai International Airport
With a score of 9.55, Dubai International Airport holds the coveted top position in the Business Travel Airport Index.
It was the world’s busiest airport by international passenger traffic as of 2024 and, according to the new data, has a total of 271 routes with direct flights, 88 per cent of which are business class.
Just a 19-minute drive from the central business district, the airport has 35 lounges and nine three-star hotels within a mile.
2. Singapore Changi Airport

3. Frankfurt Airport
Frankfurt Airport is Germany’s busiest international airport by passenger numbers.

It is a 190-minute drive from the central business district and has a Business Travel score of 8.62.
4. Tokyo Haneda Airport
In fourth place is Tokyo Haneda Airport, which has a Business Travel score of 8.37 and a Skytrax rating of five.
Despite being almost 40 minutes away from the central business district by car, 95 per cent of its 102 routes with direct flights offer business class.

5. Seoul Incheon International Airport
Rounding off the top five is Seoul Incheon International Airport in South Korea, which has a Business Travel Airport Index score of 8.28.

6. Hamad International Airport
In sixth place is Hamad International Airport, which is the hub for Qatar Airways.
Scoring 8.27 in the index, the airport opened in Qatar in 2014 and features modern amenities, including shops, restaurants and an indoor garden.

It has 184 routes with direct flights, of which 174 are business class, 19 lounges and is just 22 minutes from the central business district by car. However, there are no three-star hotels within a mile.
7. Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport
Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport in Guangdong, China, has an index score of 8.18, coming in at seventh place.
The airport has 162 routes with direct flights, of which 82 per cent are business class.

8. Toronto Pearson International Airport

It is the primary global hub for Air Canada and has 192 routes with direct flights, 17 lounges and 13 three-star hotels within a mile of the airport.
It holds a 4-Star Airport rating from Skytrax for its facilities, cleanliness, and staff service.
9. Charles de Gaulle Airport

10. Amsterdam Airport Schiphol

Holding the tenth spot is Amsterdam Airport Schiphol with a Business Travel score of 7.25.
The airport is known for its efficiency, including fast train access directly to downtown Amsterdam.
It has 269 routes with direct flights, of which 184 are business class, 10 lounges and is just 33.5 minutes from the business district.
