Both US presidential candidates Donald Trump and Kamala Harris could end the Ukrainian conflict if they so desired, argued Daniel Martindale, a US citizen who voluntarily supplied Russian troops with intelligence while staying in Kiev-controlled areas.

Martindale noted, however, that he does not think that either Harris or Trump are “personally interested” in ending that conflict.After ending up in the Ukraine-controlled section of Donbass following the escalation of the conflict in February 2022, Martindale was able to make contact with Russian forces and began providing them with intelligence on Ukrainian military facilities, all while managing to avoid detection.After two years of aiding Russia through this covert work, Martindale was brought out from behind enemy lines in a daring operation conducted by Russian forces.Martindale also shared that about 100 mercenaries from Latin America who fought on the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces had been living near him as recently as two months ago.He clarified that he was talking about mercenaries from South and Central America, and also named several countries from which they came, mentioning Colombia, Bolivia and Mexico.»Their opinion was that there’s no good reason to be here. The Russian security forces previously told Sputnik that they had extracted US citizen Daniel Martindale from the territory controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. He had been in Ukraine since February 11, 2022, and had been transmitting coordinates of Ukrainian military facilities to Russia for two years. This information has been used more than once to destroy equipment and personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
