Actor Harry Hamlin is clapping back at former Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel‘s scathing review of his jarred tomato sauce – and he’s not afraid to say how he really feels about it all.
In December, Frankel made headlines after she trashed Hamlin’s product in multiple TikTok videos after she was sent the product for review.
Hamlin, who founded Harry’s Famous, came out with his own line of sauce in 2024, after wife Lisa Rinna often mentioned that he could make a great spaghetti sauce while she starred on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
On the show, he even served up his famous Bolognese for the ladies in the cast in honor of Garcelle Beauvais‘ birthday.
At the time of her review, Hamlin had just one kind of sauce in his collection – Rosemary Red Wine – which the Skinnygirl mogul blasted as something that tasted like ‘eating a glass of not-great red wine.’
Frankel, 54, immediately made a sour face after tasting the sauce for the first time in her video.
‘No, I don’t know what that is,’ she said.
‘I don’t like that, it tastes like vinegar or wine or something,’ she continued.

‘Here’s my pitch,’ Frankel said at the end of the clip. ‘Business is hard, so you better know now, just go back, let’s just try another flavor.’
At the time, Hamlin, 73, and Rinna, 61, didn’t respond to Frankel’s assessment of the sauce, but the Clash of the Titans star had some subtle shade for the entrepreneur in an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com Tuesday.
‘I’m a huge fan of Bethenny’s, and all I can say is that taste is a personal thing,’ Hamlin, who was promoting the second season of Mayfair Witches, told DailyMail.com.
‘Some people have good taste, some people have bad taste, but you know, there’s no accounting for it, right? That’s the saying, there’s no accounting for taste,’ he continued.
The former Lisa Loves Harry star added that he appreciates ‘anything and everything.’
‘If somebody gives us a try, if you like it, you like it, if you don’t, hey, buy something else,’ he said.
And, for those that do like it, Hamlin is coming out with a second flavor of sauce: Spicy Tarragon Vodka.
He calls the vodka sauce ‘unbelievable,’ and even gushed that his wife puts it on everything, not just pasta.

Multiple members of Daily Mail’s FEMAIL team tried out the sauce, and we can confirm – it really is delicious.
All of Hamlin’s sauces are made from scratch, and boasts no additives, stabilizers or preservatives.
The actor, who plays Cortland on Witches of Mayfair, told DailyMail.com that he started making sauce when he was living in Italy in the early 1980s.
‘When I moved back to LA and had kids, you know, what do you do on Sunday? You know, there’s no one around to cook except for me,’ Hamlin explained.
‘And I had this recipe and I started making it on Sundays and we started having the neighbors over,’ he continued.

You can see more of Hamlin cooking this May, when his new show, In The Kitchen With Harry Hamlin, will premiere on AMC.
He will host the show alongside his niece, Renee Guilbault, who is a certified Cordon Bleu chef.
