EastEnders cast member Jacqueline Jossa and her husband Dan Osborne – who rose to fame on the Only Way is Essex – have separated, it was announced just days ago
Actress Jacqueline Jossa is reportedly making a «last-ditch attempt» to «save» her marriage to Dan Osborne following the news that they have separated. There’s said to have been «no conversation about divorce» between them.
Over the weekend, it was announced that Jacqueline, 32, and Dan, 33, had split up. They issued a joint statement in which it was stated that their «top priority» remained their two children Ella, nine, and Mia, six. It was reported that Dan had moved out of their home and that he was living nearby.
EastEnders cast member Jacqueline and her husband, who rose to fame on the Only Way is Essex, are both thought to have been spotted without their wedding rings on since then. It’s however now been reported that they are holding «crisis talks» and haven’t discussed a potential divorce.
The Sun reports that according to sources Jacqueline has said she has no plans to start divorce proceedings. It further suggests that the soap star will not call in lawyers until she’s «sure» that herself and Dan «have no future» together.
A source told the outlet: «Jacqueline and Dan have effectively ended the marriage but she wants to try to get back on track.» They added that she still «has love» for him despite things having been «very difficult» between them.
The source added: «He’s still not living at the family home but he and Jacqueline are talking things through.» And they further told the outlet about Jacqueline and her husband: «There has been no conversation about divorce.»
It comes after a source previously told the Sun that the pair are «spending time apart» whilst «on a break». That source said it had been a «difficult decision,» before saying that neither Jacqueline nor Dan know what the future holds.
The latest comments come just days ago it was announced that Jacqueline and Dan have parted ways. They have been married since 2017 and their family includes their two kids and Dan’s son Teddy, eleven, from a previous relationship.
Jacqueline and Dan have faced rumours of a break-up in the past, including earlier this year. It was however last week though that they issued a joint statement confirming that they had now separated after eight years of marriage.
As reported at the time, it was shared in the statement that the former couple have each other’s «best interests at heart» as they navigate the situation together. And fans were also told that their kids «remain their top priority.»
The statement from them read: «[They] are handling things privately, choosing to keep their lives and relationship out of the public eye.» It went on to say: «They kindly ask for respect and privacy as they navigate this together.»
The pair’s statement concluded: «Their children remain their top priority, surrounded by love and care from both parents – something that will never change. Above all, Jacqueline and Dan have each other’s and their children’s best interests at heart. There will be no further comment.»
