She’s the It girl of the Emmys.
Before making her awards-show hosting debut at the 2026 Emmys, Mariska Hargitay hit the red carpet in a shimmering red Monse gown — and a radiant beauty look that began with It Cosmetics Do It All Sheer Tint Face Balm.
Her makeup artist, Kate Synnott, called it the “hero” of her glam in a press release, noting that the product’s made up of 92% skin care ingredients (including hyaluronic acid and collagen peptides).
“You get that beautiful skin care-first feel, but it also gives sheer coverage and a really natural radiant finish,” she said. “I love that the skin still looks like skin — just smoother, hydrated and perfected.”
Billed as an “everyday skin transformer,” the seamless tint is designed to boost radiance and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
Hargitay isn’t alone in wearing it; “RHONY” star Sai de Silva recently told Page Six Style it’s “one of [her] go-tos when [her] skin needs a little extra hydration,” adding, “I love how nourishing it feels without leaving my skin feeling heavy, and it’s especially helpful when I’m constantly traveling, wearing makeup and dealing with long days.”
The multitasking face balm’s also earned an impressive 4.5-star average out of over 3,700 reviews at Ulta alone, with devotees calling it everything from “my new fave” to “excellent for dry skin.”
Hargitay’s Emmys look also included the brand’s Do It All Radiant Concealer, which Synnott applied around her eyes and mouth to “brighten and lift.”
And while the star changed into 12 different outfits during the show, she also kept things comparatively simple with her skin care. Synnott prepped the star’s complexion with a tried-and-true drugstore face wash: Cetaphil Nourishing Oil to Foam Cleanser.
“It’s really reassuring using Cetaphil on a client because I know I’m using products backed by sensitive skin science,” the beauty pro said in a press release.
“Especially before a big red-carpet moment, having skin that’s properly prepped, hydrated and looking its best is so important.”
