On the heels of Survivor‘s milestone 50th season concluding in May, Survivor 51—which starts the hit reality competition show’s “Open Era”—kicks off with a two-hour premiere. However, the fans shouldn’t prepare for that two-hour time commitment on a weekly basis. Episodes following the start of Survivor 51 will clock in at 90 minutes.
Survivor 51 welcomes 21 castaways to compete in a season that has earned “permanent uncertainty” as its catchphrase. If that doesn’t have you on the edge of your seat, I don’t know what will!
