This is the moment stunt motorcyclists suffered a frightening crash at a circus in Brazil.
The stunt riders were in the middle of their performance Saturday night in the southern city of Balneário Camboriú when one of the motorcyclists sparked a chain reaction bike crash inside the tight quarters.
The stunt involves several motorcycles inside a globe at high rates of speed.
A rider could be seen doing laps inside the chain-linked sphere ball, known as the ‘Globe of Death,’ when he appeared to clip the rear tire of the motorcyclist in front of him.
The collision caused both riders to crash on the side of the sphere ball before the other motorcyclists collided and fell.

The biker subsequently hit the side of one of the motorcycles and flipped midair.
The impact sent him crashing to the ground with the motorcycle falling over him.
Mirage Circus staff rushed to the stage to open the gates before one of the stunt riders managed to get up on their own to the surprise of the spectators, who applauded and cheered them on.
The company said in a statement that the performers only ‘minor scratches’ as a result of the crash.
Magic Circus said that it holds more than 40 monthly performances of the ‘globe of death’ at its events throughout Brazil

‘It is extremely important to reinforce that the safety of our artists and the public has always been and will continue to be our highest priority. The motorcyclists involved in the incident have over 20 years of experience and are highly qualified professionals, with no newbies on our team,’ Mirage Circus said.
‘They undergo rigorous and ongoing training, and the motorcycles used in the number undergo meticulous maintenance to ensure the highest standard of safety.’
The company holds more than 40 globe of death performances each month throughout Brazil and had carried out more than 100 showings during the first 10 weeks of 2024.
‘The Globe of Death is, by its nature, a highly complex and dangerous number, which, ironically, contributes to its fascination and public acclaim,’ Magic Circus said. ‘We are aware that, as with any live performance, unforeseen events may occur. However, we ensure that all measures are taken to minimize risks and ensure everyone’s safety.’
Wal Andrades, who recorded one of the videos and shared it on her social media, told a Brazilian outlet that a circus worker addressed the crowd and apologized for the incident before the rest of the performances were held.
‘It’s a magical spectacle and, thank God, nothing more serious happened,’ Andrades said.
