Mark Consuelos may have been absent this from morning’s episode of Live with Kelly and Mark, but he and his tight shirts still managed to make their way into Kelly Ripa and guest co-host Andy Cohen‘s host chat.
After Ripa and Consuelos traveled to Tangier, Morocco this weekend for a wedding, the latter flew to Italy to check in on his soccer team, prompting Cohen to step in.
Toward the end of their host chat, Ripa brought up people being bothered by “gym-goers” recording themselves while working out.
“Gym-goers are questioning their filming counterparts online and in person,” she read aloud. “It’s led to some confrontations, people think it’s rude, sometimes people think you are filming them when in fact you are just filming yourself.”
Cohen chimed in, “I like to see hot people working out.”
Ripa asked if he films himself at the gym, which Cohen quickly denied, teasing and reiterating that he “like[s] to see hot people working out.”
“No, occasionally I’ll film a little walk-and-talk with Stanny, my trainer,” he clarified. “That’s fun. But that’s not me, like, pumping iron. No one wants to see that .”
However, Ripa retorted that she wants to, and claimed she “do[es]n’t think [she’s] alone.”
“Wouldn’t you like to see Andy working out?” she asked the studio audience, who erupted into applause.
Cohen replied, “You know who I would like to see work out? Mark Consuelos.”
While Ripa noted that she’s “seen Mark work out,” Cohen highlighted a perk of tuning into Live.
“You know what I like when I turn on your show?” he asked Ripa. “Mark, he’ll wear a tight shirt. I love it. I’m like, wow, I can see Mark’s boobs today. I love it.”
While Ripa quipped “every day,” Cohen noted that “this is keeping [him] tuning in everyday.”
The Bravo host, who shared earlier in the segment that Consuelos had texted him that morning for a book recommendation for his flight home, recalled “getting dressed at 6:30 while thinking of a book for Mark.”
“I was like, let me find a baggy suit,” he quipped. “Today is not the day.”
Ripa replied, “I always laugh because I say Mark buys the shirt… a size smaller than his size, and then he has it taken it in.”
Cohen added, “And we are all grateful for it.”
