Shocking new images have shown how Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs had been preparing for a hotel ‘freak off’ despite being aware he was about to be arrested, according to prosecutors. As the case against the disgraced musician continues, new images have been show to jurors in the lower Manhattan court.

The trial against the 55-year-old entered its sixth day on Monday as Combs faces a number of charges, including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and transportation to engage in prostitution. He continues to strenuously deny any wrong doing.

On day six, prosecutors brought up a set of photographs that had been taken by law enforcement when the star was arrested at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Midtown Manhattan in September last year.

Despite Combs having agreed with his attorneys to surrender to authorities before his arrest, his hotel room showed what appeared to be preparation for a ‘freak off’. A number of bottles of baby oil were found, as was mood lighting when authorities arrived.

Other objects discovered on location including a mysterious pink powder in small bags, a bottle of pills and money. Among the drugs found in the room, according to prosecutors, was ketamine and MDMA.

During her testimony, Combs’ ex, Cassie Ventura had claimed the star was meticulous about his planning for his ‘freak offs’. She claimed she was told to eat up the baby oil before they would use it in the ‘freak offs.’

Among those taking to the stand on Monday was David James, who used to work with Combs as his personal assistant during the period he was dating Cassie Ventura. He told the jury he applied to work for Combs after seeing a New York Times story and said he hoped to break into the fashion industry.

James said he had an interview with the head of human resources at Combs’ Bad Boy label during the interview process. He then claimed the woman pointed to a picture of Combs and explained to him: “This is Mr. Combs’s kingdom. We’re all here to serve in it.”

He also told the court that he had suggested to Ventura that she should bail on the «crazy» party lift with Diddy in their early relationship. He said he was smoking outside with Ventura during a trip to Miami with the rapper. James testified Ventura told him: “Man, this lifestyle is crazy,” and he agreed.

“Cassie, if it’s so crazy, why don’t you just leave?” he asked her. “I can’t get out,” she said, according to the witness. “Mr. Combs oversees so much of my life.”

James went on to say he was told by Ventura that she depended on Combs for her career, her home and her salary. “I just didn’t think she could easily leave,” he said.

The trial continues.
