A Border Force officer has appeared in court charged with spying on pro-democracy activists living in the UK. Chi Leung Wai is based with the UK Border Force at Heathrow airport, and was charged alongside Chung Biu Yuen, a Hong Kong trade official, and Matthew Trickett, a former Royal Marine.
