Celebrity Big Brother housemate Mickey Rourke left fans gobsmacked after choosing to grant one housemate immunity rather than taking it himself
Celebrity Big Brother is back and although the 13 celebrities have only spent 24 hours in the house together, the drama is already heating up – thanks to Mickey Rourke‘s secret power. The jaw dropping line-up includes Dance Moms star JoJo Siwa, EastEnders‘ Patsy Palmer and Coronation Street’s Jack P Shepherd – and one of them is already immune thanks to Mickey.
Big Brother isn’t playing around this series, as they introduced a twist straight off the bat with Big Brother’s Super Secret Very Hush Hush Game Show. Lucky housemate Mickey was called to Big Brother’s Big Prize Room where the 72-year-old was told he has 2400 points to spend on whatever his heart desires.
Mickey choose the smoothie maker for Daley and Big Brother’s Tasty Takeaway Pass for Chris Hughes – but that’s not all. The star was then granted with three powers to choose from.
He was given the option to grant himself immunity for the next eviction, pick a killer nomination or grant someone else immunity for the first eviction with The Guardian Angel power. Mickey chose the latter, as he decided to give the immunity to another housemate.
However, Mickey didn’t give a decision straight away, as Big Brother told him he’d be given a day to get to know his housemates before deciding. Stating the reason behind his decision, Mickey said: «I chose this one to protect the participants from being evicted.» However, he had to keep his power a secret from the housemates.
Despite Mickey having to keep it a secret, fans think they already know who Mickey is going to pick, as he told the house he had a secret. «Mickey has chosen Jojo for immunity from the first nomination because he likes pink.»
Others were left ‘fuming’ that Mickey was given the decision: «Does Mickey even know what planet we are on?» questioned one, as another said: «I don’t know If Mickey knows where he is!»
The American actor and former professional boxer made viewers feel uncomfortable during his entrance last night, as he appeared to briefly gyrate against AJ’s behind before eyeing her up and down during his introduction to the crowd.
Dressed in a figure-hugging jumpsuit, AJ attempted to professionally brush it off by smiling and telling the 72-year old to «stop looking at me!» But he proceeded to ask her to come with him.
Fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter to express their concern, as one wrote: «I feel bad for AJ with the way Mickey Rourke kept pulling out her.» Another commented: «Is Mickey Rourke OK?»
