Vor seiner zweiten Wahl zum Klubpräsidenten des FC Barcelona mietete der heute 62-Jährige zum Auftakt des Wahlkampfs eine Hausfassade in Nähe des Bernabéu-Stadions an, in Blickweite der Heimstatt des großen Barça-Rivalen Real Madrid. Er breitete dort ein Riesentransparent aus: „Ganas de volver a veros“, war darauf zu lesen, zu Deutsch: „Lust, euch wiederzusehen.“
