Dem strategist James Carville says party’s ‘messaging is full of s–t’

Prominent Democratic strategist James Carville slammed his own party Saturday in a rant in which he called its messaging “full of s–t” — and accused the Biden campaign of worrying too much about the war in Gaza.

Carville, who helped run Bill Clinton’s successful 1992 White House campaign, ripped into national Democrats as polls continue to show President Biden struggling in his likely rematch with former President Donald Trump.

“We keep wondering why these young people are not coming home to the Democrats,” Carville, 79, said in a video episode of his Politicon podcast.

“Why are blacks not coming home to the Democrats? Because Democrat messaging is full of s–t, that’s why.”

“Talk about cost of living and ‘We’re gonna help deal with this,’” Carville said. “Don’t talk about f–king Gaza and student loans.”

“Why are we forgiving student loans for people that go to Harvard,” he asked, comparing the Ivy League school to a “hedge fund that has classrooms.”

The cable news pundit has repeatedly bashed the Democratic Party and its direction ahead of November’s high-stakes contest.

In March, he warned Democrats were losing support among young minority voters at a “horrifying” rate on his podcast and blamed “too many preachy females” for the party’s polling problems in a New York Times interview.

His message to young voters last month was “F–k you,” claiming if Trump wins it will lead to a Supreme Court that will “take every right that you possibly have away from you.”
