Das teilte er der Belegschaft des deutschen Auslandssenders in einem Rundschreiben mit, das der SZ vorliegt. Er habe „viel Zuspruch erfahren“, schreibt Limbourg darin, er sei aber „überzeugt, dass zwölf Jahre an der Spitze der DW genug sind“.
