The EA FC 26 Web App and EA FC 26 Companion App will be released before EA FC 26 early access begins.
With the EA FC 26 release less than a month away, players will soon be able to access Ultimate Team before the full game drops through the EA FC 26 Web App and EA FC 26 Companion App.
Hype surrounding EA FC 26 is building daily, with EA Sports regularly releasing updates on the newest EA Sports FC instalments to get players excited. From a collection of deep dives to revealing the new EA FC 26 Icons, there’s plenty of EA FC 26 content being revealed, while it also appears some new player ratings are being leaked on social media.
But, before EA FC 26 is officially released worldwide, players will be able to get their first taste of the game through the EA FC 26 Web App and EA FC 26 Companion App. Since FIFA 13, EA has released a Web App annually, while EA also started to release the Companion App from FIFA 15.
The Web App allows players to access Ultimate Team through a web browser, while the Companion App is a mobile version of Ultimate Team that can be downloaded for free from the App Store or the Google Play Store. Here’s when we expect the EA FC 26 Web App and EA FC 26 Companion App to be released.

EA FC 26 Web App expected release date
In the past, the Web App used to go live around a week before the game’s official release date, but since EA FC 24, EA has changed its ways, with the Web App being released two days before early access in both EA FC 24 and, most recently, EA FC 25. We don’t expect this to change, so based on past releases, we expect the EA FC 26 Web App to be released on Wednesday, September 17, two days before EA FC 26 early access begins.
If the EA FC 26 Web App is released on Wednesday, September 17, it should go live with the TOTW 1 squad available in Ultimate Team, as was the case in EA FC 25.
EA FC 26 Companion App expected release date
The Companion App has historically been released the day after the Web App, so with this in mind, we expect the EA FC 26 Companion App to be released on Thursday, September 18, just one day before EA FC 26 early access gets underway.
The EA FC 26 Web App and Companion App are great ways to get started in Ultimate Team before you can start officially playing the game. Players can use the Web App or Companion App to purchase packs, access the transfer market, complete SBCs, access quick sell recovery and build their Ultimate Team squad, so when you finally get your hands on the full version of the game, you can get started with a half-decent squad.
Halfway through EA FC 25, EA introduced Training Camp Evolutions, which allowed players to evolve Ultimate Team players without playing the game. We expect that there will be a free Training Camp Evolution available when the EA FC 26 Web App launches, so keep an eye out for that.
If you have the EA FC 25 Companion App, an update will become available on the App Store and Google Play Store when the EA FC 26 version becomes available.
