Curtis Pritchard kissed his girlfriend for the cameras at the Grand National, putting on a united front after Georges Berthonneau shockingly announced his secret relationship with Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu
Love Island: All Stars couple Curtis Pritchard and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu have been spotted cuddling up during a day out. The duo went out to see the races, and managed to distract photographers from the horses.
Ekin-Su, 30, and Curtis, 29, were captured as they enjoyed a day out at The Randox Grand National at Aintree, near Liverpool, this afternoon. The ITV couple seemed to be in a fancy box area, and dressed to impress for the exclusive outing, even pausing to share a kiss between smiling for the cameras.
Ekin-Su opted for a risqué twist on a traditional suit, wearing nothing beneath a plunging, fitted blazer and matching beige shorts. She finished the look with a small Prada handbag and matching shoes, adding a pop of colour with a navy blue fascinator.
Curtis, meanwhile, kept things classic with a very light pink shirt tucked into beige chinos, and paired with suede brown Oxfords. Contrasting with his gentlemanly outfit Curtis also unveiled a facial injury, with a painful-looking bruise on the delicate skin under his left eye.
A representative for Curtis confirmed to the Mirror that the star has been practicing for his boxing debut at Misfits, where he’ll be fighting on May 16 after signing a two fight deal.
Curtis’ foray into the world of boxing comes as he named the two people he’d most like to fight in the ring. Talking to Boxing Buzz Hub on TikTok last month, the former Hollyoaks actor was asked: “Do you have any names of people you would like to call out?”
Curtis seemed to already have the names in mind, barely pausing before he said: “Got a couple, but I’m not going to say everyone. But I’ll give you two names.”
The Dancing with the Stars pro then named fellow islanders Sammy Root and Davide Sanclimenti, explaining: “Sammy, from my season of Love Island just gone. Because I know that he boxes, I know that he would perhaps look to do it. And then maybe Davide, which is Ekin’s ex. Because I know that he never treated her well, so that would be an interesting one.”
Ekin-Su and Davide met on Love Island in 2022, and went on to win the series before they announced their break-up last year. Cracks started to appear for Davide and Ekin-Su when he was filmed allegedly leaving a party with two women, with Ekin-Su later claiming that Davide cheated on her.
Their outing comes after Married At First Sight UK star Georges Berthonneau claimed that he and Ekin-Su were dating during her time on All Stars, but she returned to the villa in order to boost her career.
According to Georges, he and Ekin-Su were together for 10 months before she shared steamy moments with Curtis on Love Island, with the agreement being that she couldn’t go further than “kissing” anyone.
“It was a super, super intense and intimate relationship… We had a lot of intimacy, we were very close, and physically and emotionally we showed each other such love, but she threw everything we had away for her TV romance with Curtis Pritchard,” he told the Daily Mail, adding that they spent holidays together and met each other’s family members.
Georges added: “I feel so used. The devil on her shoulder is always money, money, money, brand deals, she just wants to be the most known person and that’s all she cares about.”
Despite the former couple being in “floods of tears” when Ekin-Su left to head to South Africa, Georges said that she soon betrayed his trust when on the show. “It’s a fact she cheated on me with him, she was on national TV and said yes to being another man’s girlfriend,” he said.
However, a spokesperson for Ekin-Su has shut down the allegations of cheating and insisted that she wasn’t in an exclusive relationship with Georges. In a statement, they said: «He knew before she went on Love Island: All Stars that she was entering the show as a single person and therefore their relationship would not continue under those circumstances.
«Ekin was upfront with Georges about her intention to pursue a new relationship on Love Island.» They added that Ekin made it «clear» on several occasions that their relationship was to end.
