Elon Musk’s alleged baby momma was not married when she had her first kid in 2021 at age 23, despite online rumors, DailyMail.com’s podcast Welcome to MAGALand revealed on Monday.
Ashley St. Clair created a social media firestorm on Friday night when she posted on X claiming she had Elon Musk’s baby in September.
She has been both congratulated and attacked by her followers on the political left and right, some of whom spread false claims about the conservative firebrand influencer.
X users incorrectly claimed she was already married to another man when she was allegedly impregnated by Musk, and that she lied about her age and is in fact 31.
But DailyMail.com’s new politics podcast, Welcome to MAGALand, reported on Monday that public records show she is indeed 26 – and her ex has confirmed they were never married.

St. Clair revealed her lovechild on X, claiming she had been forced to come forward due to snooping by ‘tabloid media’.
She followed up the post the next day with a sit-down interview with the New York Post, complete with a photoshoot in her luxury Manhattan apartment, claiming Musk had forced her to keep the baby a secret.
One of the Post’s stories said her age was 31. But Welcome to MAGALand reported on Monday that Florida and New York voter registration records show her birth date being in 1998, making her 26.
The date matches with tweets where Musk wished her a happy birthday – part of their flirty X exchanges documented by DailyMail.com, that gave public clues to their romantic involvement.
In previous media interviews, St. Clair has brought up her first son, 3, born from a previous relationship.

In an interview promoting her anti-trans kids book in 2021, St. Clair talked about her fears that her son, with whom she was pregnant at the time, would be indoctrinated with pro-transgender ideology at school.
She had the boy with her then-boyfriend, New York chiropractor Dr. Johnny Alexander.
X users have been posting claiming the two were married – even citing statements from Musk’s AI chatbot Grok.
But this weekend Alexander posted on X stating that he has never been married.
‘For the record- I have never been married, I’ve never even been engaged. I’m just a really great father to an amazing little boy.’
St. Clair first made mention of a boyfriend – who was apparently a regular fixture of her Instagram account – in 2019.
Alexander, who runs a clinic in Manhattan, posted loving pictures with St Clair in August and September 2020 with the captions ‘Team Deplorable’ and ‘Best part of my week’.
But he has not been pictured with her since then. A source close to the couple told DailyMail.com they are separated but coparenting.
Alexander says he is happy he is a dad, but hinted at some exasperation at being linked to the drama between his ex and Musk.
‘Being a father is the greatest blessing in my life; there is not one single day where I take this role for granted,’ he posted on X on Sunday.
But when a follower tweeted at him: ‘I’m sorry you are stuck with her drama for a lifetime,’ he replied: ‘I plead the Fifth’, referring to the constitutional right to avoid self-incrimination, along with a picture of an exhausted-looking man.
