Shoppers are scrambling get their hands on a kitchen essential at Dollar Tree.

The discount chain is currently selling a gorgeous Royal Norfolk-brand Swirl Stoneware Bowl for just $1.25.

The turquoise-colored bowl is popular in-store and online, and customers can purchase 12 of them for $15 on Dollar Tree’s website.

The bowl can be used for everything from soups and salads to cereal and pasta.

‘They measure 5.5-in. with a simple construction that will stand up to use in even the busiest of conditions,’ the product description reads.

‘Perfect for homes, restaurants, banquet halls, catering companies, soup kitchens, rental properties, and beyond.’

The bowl is dishwasher- and microwave-safe, and it has a 4.5-star overall rating based on reviews from nearly 175 shoppers.

A few shoppers claimed they’ve owned at least one of the Royal Norfolk-brand bowls for years.

‘I bought these 4 years ago and still love them! The price is cheap and the dishes are very nice,’ one reviewer wrote earlier this month.

‘I’ve had these bowls for about 6 years now, and I love them! I love that they’re easy and economical to add to or replace,’ another said.

‘I’m almost embarrassed to say I paid only $1.25 each for these beautiful bowls. I have 3 that I bought years ago and was surprised to find them at Dollar Tree,’ a third reviewer commented.

‘I picked them up at the store so no shipping cost. They are perfect for soup/chili/cereal.’

Other details of the bowl  praised by shoppers include its color, size, and quality.

Shoppers who aren’t able to get their hands on the bowl can find similar versions from retailers like Amazon, according to The Kitchn.

The Royal Norfolk-brand bowl is not the only low-priced kitchen item available at Dollar Tree.

One top-quality product shoppers raced to buy was a set of 5 Ball-brand wooden storage lids.

The product is nearly the same as the 5-pack of Ball brand wooden lids that were available to purchase for $10.16 on Amazon.

A Dollar Tree shopper also spotted decorative ceramic plates that resembled kitchenware from Pottery Barn.

The shopper did not confirm the Dollar Tree product price, but its design resembled that of the Marrakesh-brand bowls that were available in a set of four for $19.

Other must-have kitchen items Dollar Tree included Domino’s Powdered Sugar for $1.25 per pound and $1.25 pumpkin-themed placemats that resembled pricier versions from Pottery Barn.

The chain is in the process of closing nearly 1,000 Dollar Tree and Family Dollar locations due to underperformance.

As of the week ending December 13, 2024, 41 Family Dollar and eight Dollar Tree locations had closed their doors for good.

‘Over recent years, rates of shopping around have increased, and we believe that they will only increase further in the years ahead as other chains like Walmart, Aldi and Dollar General continue to expand,’ Neil Saunders, managing director of GlobalData, told CBS News in June.

‘Against this backdrop, Family Dollar does not want to invest in markets where it cannot win and is not particularly profitable.’

The company confirmed its successful third quarter for the period ending on November 2, 2024.

‘Our Dollar Tree and Family Dollar merchandising efforts produced tangible results, and our third quarter sales came in at the high-end of our expected range,’ Mike Creedon, Chief Executive Officer, said in the report.

‘As an organization, our top priorities remain accelerating the growth of the Dollar Tree segment, completing the Family Dollar strategic review process, and unlocking value for Dollar Tree shareholders.’

Dollar Tree is set to release its next earnings report on March 12.
