An ordinary 64-year-old grandmother-of-11 has beaten millionaire biohacker Bryan Johnson in the anti-aging ‘Rejuvenation Olympics‘ with her simple routine.

Amy Hardison is currently in fifth place in the Rejuvenation Olympics, an online leaderboard, where people submit their health statistics to show how they have slowed aging.

She is one place ahead of tech executive Johnson, 45, who is famous for his extreme costly health routine which includes infusions of his teenage son’s blood.

Hardison’s test results show she has improved major markers of aging, such cellular senescence, telomere shortening, and mitochondrial dysfunction using her simple system.

Ironically, the mother and grandmother doesn’t want to live an extraordinarily long life, telling Business Insider: ‘People that maybe are my kid’s generation, they’re like, ‘Well, don’t you want to live to 130? No, I don’t.’

Here, we detail her cost-efficient, effective routine for staying young and healthy.

Supplements

Hardison spends $300 a month on supplements from the longevity brand NOVOS.

She currently takes three NOVOS products (Core, Boost, and Vital) which contain magnesium, L-theanine, Ginger and Fisetine.

She had never taken supplements before but told Insider she noticed immediate benefits.

Diet

Hardison follows a simple routine made up of healthy homemade foods and a daily treat.

Each morning she will start with a glass of chocolate milk and piece of homemade wholemeal toast.

Then she will have a salad with plenty of vegetables, fruits, nuts and chicken for protein for lunch or dinner.

But most important is her daily treat of either a homemade cookie or a piece of chocolate.

She told Insider: ‘I’ll listen to my body. I will only eat what I love. I savor what I eat.’

Exercise

Hardison mixes a combination of low intensity work-outs and high intensity bursts.

She typically spends an hour at a moderate pace on the elliptical while she listens to audiobooks and then does short bursts of high intensity after.

When it’s warm enough, she works out in the pool instead.

She told Insider: ‘It’s an integral part of my day and it’s so much fun for me. I think it’s important to find what you love enough that you look forward to it.’

It’s crucial, she said, to have a good mindset about it, and to find a balance of habits that keep you healthy and happy.

She said: ‘I’m not trying to stave off old age. I think this is the best age ever.’
