Illegal migrant sobs as he’s arrested by ICE for warped ‘Russian roulette’ torture of woman in his native Venezuela

An illegal immigrant accused of torturing a woman sobbed while being hauled away by ICE officers in Texas.

Footage released by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) shows the Venezuelan putting on a theatrical display as he was handcuffed by federal agents in Plano, Texas on Aug. 14.

But the fake tears of Raul Enrique Pargas Rodriquez, 31, were a far cry from another video of him terrorizing a South American woman in what the feds are calling a his version of ‘Russian roulette.’

The older clip shows him grabbing a woman by the neck and waving a gun at her back in Feb. 24, 2021 in Venezuela.

After arresting Pargas in the Dallas area earlier this month, ICE released information on his attempted femicide charges in his homeland before coming to the US.

Pargas used a black pistol to threaten the woman, pointing it at her head before removing the bullets and replacing them, then pointing the gun at her head again, according to ICE

The woman was able to escape, and so was Pargas.

He came to the US in Aug. 10, 2022, crossing the border in Eagle Pass, Texas.

Pargas was released by US Border Patrol on own recognizance pending disposition of his immigration proceedings and made his way north to Dallas.

Despite being arrested again on Nov. 28, 2023 for assault in Dallas, he was released by local authorities under the Biden administration.

‘This dangerous criminal alien allegedly beat, demeaned and tortured a young woman in some twisted version of Russian roulette and then fled to the United States when his attempt to murder her fell apart,’ said ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations Dallas acting Field Office Director Joshua Johnson.

‘Thanks to a tip from the U.S. Border Patrol, we were able to track him down and safely take him into custody so that he can be repatriated to Venezuela to face justice for his alleged crimes.’

Pargas remains in ICE custody but it’s still unclear whether he will be deported.

The agency explained he’s in jail ‘pending disposition of his immigration proceedings.’
