Israel launched a series of airstrikes in Yemen’s port city of Hodeidah on Monday following the Houthi terrorists’ ballistic missile attack at the Jewish state’s busiest airport, according to multiple reports.
The Israeli air force carried out the strikes in coordination with the US, but American forces were not actively involved, Axios journalist Barak Ravid reported.
At least six strikes were reported in Hodeidah, the fourth largest city in Yemen controlled by the Houthis, according to outlets affiliated with the Iran-backed terror group.

Some 30 Israeli aircraft were deployed to carry out the attack, the Saudi-based Al-Arabiya reported.
The airstrikes come after Sunday’s attack at the Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, which injured six people and forced foreign airlines to suspend all flights to Israel.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to retaliate against the Houthis, vowing to unleash multiple attacks on the rebel group.
“We operated against them in the past and we will operate in the future,” he said in a video shared on X. “It’s not ‘bang — that’s it. But there will be bangs.”
The attack is the first Israeli bombing in Yemen in nearly four months — following a joint strike with US and British forces in January.
The US had launched its own large-scale attacks against the Houthis in March in response to the group’s continued attack on American ships and commercial vessels in the Red Sea.
