Con este triunfo, que le mantiene invicto en 2025 con 21 encuentros sin perder, se convierte en el italiano, hombre o mujer, con más títulos de ‘Grand Slam’ de la historia, desempatando con Nicola Pietrangeli, que ganó en Roland Garros en 1959 y 1960. Este entorchado se une a sus otros dos ‘grandes’, ambos conquistados en 2024: Australia y el US Open.
