Let award season styling begin!
Zendaya’s longtime stylist, Law Roach, teased that the pair are gearing up for her upcoming awards season red carpet looks should the actress find herself with a handful of nominations.
“Whatever it is, and whenever it comes, we’ll be ready,” the self-titled Image Architect coyly told Page Six Style at the 38th Annual Footwear News Achievement Awards at Cipriani South Street in New York City last week.
When asked if he can specifically tease anything he has in mind for the star, the “How to Build a Fashion Icon” author replied, “No,” with a laugh and a wink.
At the time of the Footwear News Achievement Awards, Roach, 46, pointed out that Zendaya, 28, had not yet been nominated for any upcoming awards.
However, the “Euphoria” actress has since been nominated for the 2025 Golden Globe best actress award for her role in “Challengers.”
Zendaya is up against Amy Adams (“Nightbitch”), Cynthia Erivo (“Wicked”), Karla Sofía Gascón (“Emilia Pérez”), Mikey Madison (“Anora”), and Demi Moore (“The Substance”) for the honor.
“Challengers” is also nominated in the musical or comedy category for best motion picture, best original score and best song.
Meanwhile, she’ll be pulling double duty, with “Dune: Part 2” up against “Challengers” for best original score and nabbed nom in the best motion picture drama category.
While Roach has become a star in his own right, he has worked extremely closely with Zendaya since she was on the Disney Channel in her teen years. The two have collaborated for more than a decade, cementing both of their places among fashion’s biggest stars.
The Emmy winner made a splash earlier this year and over the summer with her back-to-back themed press tours, first going totally out-of-this-world for “Dune: Part Two” and later sporting a myriad of tennis-inspired looks to promote “Challengers” at events around the world.
Although Roach hinted that he’ll continue working with Zendaya on the upcoming red carpets circuit, it’s unclear if he’ll be styling anyone else, since he famously announced he was retiring from fashion in March 2023.
“My Cup is empty….. thank you to everyone who’ve supported me and my career over the years. Every person that trusted me with their image, I’m so grateful for you all,” he wrote in a since-deleted post on Instagram at the time.
“If this business was just about the clothes I would do it for the rest of my life but unfortunately it’s not!” Roach continued. “The politics , the lies and false narratives finally got me! You win … I’m out.”
Since then, he has clarified that he was not “breaking up” with Zendaya, and they “are forever!”
“She’s my little sister and it’s real love not the fake industry love,” he wrote via X (formerly Twitter) at the time.
Roach has also gone on to dress Celine Dion a handful of times since retirement, but he has not returned to past clients like Priyanka Chopra, Lindsay Lohan or Ariana Grande.
The image architect spoke to Page Six Style before presenting the award to A$AP Rocky and Puma for their Collaboration of the Year award the FNAA ceremony –– aka the “Shoe Oscars” –– last week.
“I’ve been so lucky to work with Puma … It’s like giving it away to my family and to my friends,” he told us.
Roach attended the star-studded bash alongside Rocky and Rihanna, Martha Stewart, Nicky Hilton, Gabby Thomas, Angel Reese and Brooke Burke, among others.
