The New York Liberty will have the third-most games in the national spotlight this season.

The Liberty are scheduled to have 32 of their 44 regular-season games aired on national television or streaming in 2025.

Only the Fever (41 games) and Aces (33) will appear in more nationally televised or streamed games than the Liberty.

Meanwhile, the Connecticut Sun and Golden State Valkyries have the fewest national games with 17 and 18 games, respectively.

The WNBA unveiled its full 2025 national broadcast schedule Thursday afternoon on ESPN’s NBA Today.

With the regular season expanding from 40 to 44 games this year, also growing is the number of games that will be broadcast across multiple platforms.

More than 175 games are scheduled to be aired on national television or streaming, starting with the league’s openers May 16 and 17.

“The WNBA is coming off a 2024 season in which incredible basketball and countless memorable performances paved the way for the WNBA to deliver a record-breaking season,” WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert said in a statement. “Now, with so much excitement around the player movement that took place this winter through free agency and trades, the WNBA’s broadcast and streaming partners in 2025 will spotlight the league’s superstars, rising stars and must-see matchups like never before.”

The Liberty will make their national television debut on ABC on May 17 when they open their title defense against the Aces, whom the Liberty beat in last year’s semifinals.

The Liberty’s two other games against the Aces, July 8 and Aug. 13, will also air on ABC or ESPN.

Also, all four of the 2025 WNBA Finals rematch games between the Liberty and Minnesota Lynx will be featured on ESPN (July 30), ABC (Aug. 10), CBS Network (Aug. 16) and NBA TV (Aug. 19.)

The Liberty will close out the regular season Sept. 11 against the Chicago Sky on NBA TV.

The Disney Media Networks, the league’s longtime broadcast partner, will carry the entire postseason, including the WNBA Finals, which will be a best-of-seven series for the first time in league history.
