The final ever episode of ‘Around the Horn’ will air on May 23, bringing the ESPN show to an end after 23 years on air.
The debate show, which sees four panelists attempt to earn points – and avoid being muted – has been a staple for sports fans for the last two decades.
There have been nearly 5,000 episodes of ‘Around the Horn’ but the show – which debuted in November 2002 – will be shuttered later this year.
Tony Reali has hosted ‘Around the Horn’ since 2004, while the likes of Jemele Hill, Mina Kimes and Bomani Jones are among those to appear on the panel.
Reali moderates and scores debates on some of the biggest topics in sports.
News that the iconic show – which airs at 5pm ET on weekdays – would be axed first emerged in November.

According to ESPN, a 30-minute edition of SportsCenter will now fill that slot during the summer.
‘Around the Horn has had a remarkable run of more than two decades,’ ESPN executive David Roberts said in a statement.
‘That kind of longevity in media is incredibly rare, and we look forward to celebrating the show’s many accomplishments before the final sign-off in May.
‘Beyond Tony and the ensemble of on-air contributors, we are particularly grateful to the production team led by Erik Rydholm and Aaron Solomon, who have been instrumental in ATH’s consistent success since the very beginning.’
