Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly are reportedly “living separately” after the actress confirmed Wednesday they previously broke off their engagement.
According to Us Weekly, the “Transformers” star is living in Malibu, Calif. while Kelly (birth name Colson Baker) remains in their Encino mansion as they work on their “rocky” romance.
“They did this arrangement to give each other some space while still being together,” an insider told the outlet. “[They] are at a low moment right now. It changes everyday.”
The source also claimed Fox, 37, asked her friends to “set her up” with other people.
Despite her reported interest in dating, the source claimed their close pals don’t see them officially breaking up anytime soon. “Friends around them don’t see them completely ending the relationship as they truly change their minds every day,” they explained.
The insider also claimed Fox “has a hard time trusting” Kelly, 33, but “knows it’s her own insecurities” fueling the lack of trust.
However, a second source painted a more troubled picture of the pair, claiming to Us Weekly that they
“can’t stop fighting with each other.”
“Megan and MGK have a very toxic relationship, their love literally makes them sick,” they added.
Page Six did not receive a reply from representatives for Fox or Kelly regarding their current situation.
The stars — who have been dating since 2020 and got engaged in 2022 — have experienced several reported ups and downs during their time together, first sparking breakup rumors in February 2023 after Fox deleted most of her photos with the “Don’t Let Me Go” hitmaker and unfollowed him. She also shared song lyrics about “dishonesty.”
She was also seen without her engagement ring at the time, with a source claiming she and Kelly had a “big fight” that was much more “serious” than past issues they had.
It was also reported in February 2023 that the couple was seeking “professional help” for their issues and in March 2023 that they paused their wedding planning.

The “Jennifer’s Body” star confirmed on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast Wednesday that reports about her and Kelly calling off their engagement at some point are “accurate things that have occurred.”
Although she declined to comment further on where they currently stand as a couple, she said they will always have a special bond.
“What I can say is, that is what I refer to as being my ‘twin soul,’ and there will always be a tether to him no matter what,” she noted.
“I can’t say what the capacity will be, but I will always be connected to him somehow.”
“Beyond that, I’m not willing to explain.”
