The injury report pressed the pause button on the excitement of a best-friends battle between Malik Nabers and Jayden Daniels.
The Giants added Nabers (knee) to the injury report as limited in Thursday’s practice shortly after the rookie receiver previewed his first game against his college quarterback.
The rookie receiver will have to be designated as questionable, doubtful or fully available after Friday’s practice.

Nabers played all 71 snaps in his NFL debut and finished with five catches for 66 yards.
