A married mother-of-two was arrested in North Carolina on 80 counts of child rape.

Sara Jean Sellers, of Shallotte, was arrested on Friday on multiple charges related to sexual crimes against children, according to the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office.

The 44-year-old mother engaged in these alleged acts from 2018-2019, and two boys who were 12-years-old at the time are said to be involved, prosecutors said.

She faces 20 counts each of statutory rape of a child under the age of 15, indecent liberties with a child, and statutory sex offense with a child under 15, according to arrest records reviewed by DailyMail.com

Sellers, who has been married to her husband for 22 years, also faces 10 counts of statutory sex offense with a child by an adult and 10 counts of statutory rape of a child by adult.

During a court hearing on Friday, prosecutors said two other boys are also being interviewed in connection to the alleged crimes, WWAY reported.

Her defense attorney asked that Sellers get a $400,000 secured bond but a judge set it at $2 million.

She is currently locked up at the Brunswick County Detention Center in Bolivia, records show.

The sheriff’s office has asked the public to notify them if anyone has any information on any other of her alleged victims.

In January, a New Jersey mom-of-three was accused of performing sex acts on a 14-year-old boy multiple times inside her car.

Carr, 46,who once owned a hugely-successful summer camp for 900 children and a cheerleading squad, was investigated after the teen spoke with police.

The alleged child molester is married to Michael Carr, a marketing executive at his wife’s family’s firm Rastelli Foods Group.

According to court documents seen by 6abc, police had been notified of the married mother-of-three’s alleged behavior last May before arresting her on January 9.

The teenager told investigators that he had a sexual relationship with her, and that she frequently sent him explicit messages and images on Snapchat.

Authorities said she would pick the boy up from his school before sexually assaulting him multiple times around Marlton Park, Pilesgrove, and Mannington Township.

Carr admitted to sending the images to the teen while she was interviewed, according to a criminal complaint.

Investigators also obtained her cellphone, searched her car and gained access to her Snapchat account which stood up the teen’s accusations, officials said.

A spokesperson for Rastelli Kids Complex said that she had worked in management and did not interact with children. They also said she stood down last year.

In a statement, they said: ‘There were no charges filed against her when these allegations first came to light, and despite rumors, no previous charges were ever filed.

‘To be clear, these allegations do not involve any employees, campers, athletes or members of our RKC community. The alleged victim in the charging document was not involved in any RKC program.’

Allison Reimer, a mother from Sewell, New Jersey, told 6abc: ‘It kind of makes you lose faith in the community.

‘To send your kids to sports and you hear all kinds of things, of coaches and teachers. It’s scary.’
