Matalan customers have been left thrilled by a new £5 deal that has them flocking to the internet to purchase. On the popular Facebook group, Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, one shopper shared a ‘bargain’ deal on a piece of kitchenware available at a discounted price on Matalan’s website.
In a post by a member of the group named Lynn, she announced: «BACK IN STOCK online now.» Her post was accompanied by a screenshot of Matalan’s Monochrome Stackable Cake Tins, which have plummeted in price from £14.50 to just £5, reports Belfast Live.
She also posted a screenshot of the exact same cake tins on Amazon that are currently retailing for £29.99. This means shoppers can get the same tins for a fraction of the cost, saving themselves around £25 if they purchase from Matalan.
In the comment section, one person exclaimed: «I’ve just ordered these from Matalan, only £5! Bargain.» Another claimed: «There was loads of these in Northwich matalan, it’s £5 for 1 week then full price again.» A third said: «I’ve got this exact one (all in grey) from home bargains, £8.»
In another post shared to the group about the £5 deal, a member called Sheelagh commented: «I bought two of these in Matalan last week. Bargain.» Lisa said: «Thank you ordered mine.» Debbie tagged a friend and said: «Just ordered us 1 each,» her friend replied: «Thank you so much love, I love it.»
In the online product description, Matalan describes the cake tins as a way to store baked goods. With a stackable design, the tins are a ‘space-saver’ for any kitchen.
