PHILADELPHIA — Luisangel Acuña will get an opportunity with the Mets this season after all.

The versatile prospect was passed over by the team earlier this month when rosters expanded, but with the club wanting additional flexibility off the bench, Acuña, 22, will be recalled Saturday from Triple-A Syracuse, a source confirmed to The Post.

The move was apparently in the works even before Francisco Lindor left Friday night’s 11-3 victory over the Phillies in the seventh inning with back soreness

Acuña, the younger brother of Braves star Ronald Acuña Jr., arrived to the Mets last summer in the trade that sent Max Scherzer to Texas.

Acuña has appeared in 131 games this season for Syracuse and owns a .258/.299/.355 slash line with 40 stolen bases.

Acuña can play the infield and outfield, providing options for the Mets following Jeff McNeil’s wrist fracture that will keep him sidelined for the rest of the regular season
