Mom is brutally slammed over ‘entitled’ act at grocery store… so do YOU think she was wrong?

A mom has been slammed as ‘entitled’ and a ‘bad parent,’ after she let her toddler play behind the register at Trader Joe’s while she filmed.

Mom-of-one Brittany Polster posted the video to TikTok, showing her son, Rocky, sitting on the floor near the check out counter playing with a pile of receipt rolls.

In the controversial clip, the toddler was seen taking the rolls of receipt paper out of a cabinet one at a time and placing them on the floor, while the woman working at the register was busy scanning Polster’s items.

‘The Trader Joe’s employees who warmly giggled and watched as Rocky sat on the floor stacking the receipt paper while I packed and paid for groceries today, thank you,’ she said passionately in the voice over.

‘A reminder to all new moms out there, take a breath, you’re doing your best while getting s**t done,’ the Massachusetts mom said.

Polster also posted a gushing caption with the video, thanking the grocery store employees for being ‘so kind’ after they saw her ‘struggling.’

While the mom saw no issues with letting her son play, her video was met with furious backlash.

‘»Packed groceries” well then who’s recording?’ one user asked sarcastically.

‘You are not doing your best. Get off your phone and get your kid,’ slammed another.

‘As retail workers, we don’t actually like this. Get your kid,’ criticized someone else, with another adding: ‘As the employees – we have to do that. We can’t just yell at you to be a parent.’

‘Brittany, your son is only special to you; everyone else deserves respect, and it’s your job to set boundaries,’ another user sternly replied.

They continued: ‘He’ll grow up believing he can make people uncomfortable just because.’

‘You’re weird af for this. Entitled parents raise entitled kids. It’s not doing the kids any favors. Do better. You’re supposed to teach them that the world doesn’t exist for them,’ snarked someone else.

In response to the comments, Polster assured naysayers that she cleaned the receipt paper up.

‘Lollllll how did this get on the wrong side of TikTok of people with no kids? It didn’t take any longer than her checking me out. Yes of course I made sure it was all cleaned up,’ she wrote.

Last week, a family-of-five was fiercely slammed for their behavior while boarding a flight.

In a clip posted to social media, the Hendrix family, from Chicago, documented their kids insisting on riding their scooters on board an aircraft.

In the video, the three kids could be seen riding the scooters up to the doorway of the plane, where a stewardess motioned to the parents to fold them up in order to put them in the overhead bins.

According to the Hendrix parents, their three children keep themselves entertained at airports ‘zooming’ around on their wheels, ‘making the whole travel experience way smoother.’

The parents explained how they travel with the scooters – which are foldable – since they are ‘typically’ considered personal items to carry on.

While the Hendrix family were comfortable with their decisions to bring three scooters on board – in addition to carry on luggage – other viewers didn’t agree, pointing out it’s inconvenient for other passengers and staff.
