Footage at the chaotic scene shows the moment when police apprehend the alleged suspect who appeared to have Molotov cocktails in both his hands.

After yelling at people at the scene the man immediately puts his hands up when police approach him with guns drawn and yell at him to get on the ground. He gets on the grass face down and is handcuffed by officers without seemingly resisting.

Prior to his arrest the same man was captured shouting «Palestine is free» as he continued to shout at and converse with bystanders at the scene. «They are killers, how many children, how many children you killed?» the shirtless man said. «We can’t do nothing,» a bystander responded. «Not here.»

FBI Director Kash Patel posted on social media: “Our agents and local law enforcement are on the scene already, and we will share updates as more information becomes available.» Colorado Gov. Jared Polis said in a statement that he was “closely monitoring” the situation, adding that “hate-filled acts of any kind are unacceptable.”

A joint statement from Boulder’s Jewish community said: «We are saddened and heartbroken to learn that an incendiary device was thrown at walkers at the Run for Their Lives walk on Pearl Street as they were raising awareness for the hostages still held in Gaza.»

It added: «Our hearts go out to those who witnessed this horrible attack, and prayers for a speedy recovery to those who were injured.»
