A New Jersey mother who has been devastated by the untimely deaths of her two sons is fearing for the wellbeing of her third child and only daughter, after she went missing ‘under suspicious circumstances.’
Danielle Lopez, 37, of Burlington, New Jersey, has not been seen or heard from since April 13 when she was spotted at a Wawa convenience store in Vincetown, New Jersey.
Lopez, who is 5-foot-4, and weighs 135-pounds, disappeared shortly after telling her family that she was planning to go on a camping trip.
There is cause for concern after her 2008 two-door blue Hyundai Accent was found abandoned on Lost Lane Road in Penn State Forest, a sprawling 3,366-acre state park.

Her mother, Sue Quackenbush, 63. who is originally from Eatontown, New Jersey but now lives in West Chester, Pennsylvania, believes her daughter may not return and even wrote about her in the past tense.
‘Unimaginably, tragedy has struck our family again’ Quackenbush posted on Facebook. ‘Danielle was sweet, creative, and loving. She was a wonderful daughter and a vibrant light in my life.’
She said police told her that Danielle’s disappearance was ‘suspicious’.
New Jersey State Police have not provided any further information regarding the investigation other than to state how they are ‘seeking assistance’ from the public.
The New Jersey State Police Missing Person’s Unit and its Human Trafficking Unit are both assisting in the search.
‘The reason I used my daughter in the past tense in my statement is because police have reason to believe that harm has come of her,’ Quackenbush told Fox News.

Lopez told her family that she had been planning to camp out in Wharton State Forest, which spans more than 124,000 acres across three counties – but there has been no sign of her since.
‘I went out to where her car was found, I’ve been to the campground, I’ve been looking for about six weeks now,’ Quackenbush explained.
She notes how in the final photo of her daughter, pictured on surveillance camera as she left the Wawa store, she did not appear to be in any danger.
‘She’s smiling walking out of that store. She looks put together, has her purse. She’s functioning,’ Quackenbush explained.

‘God is working in this and I am blessed to have been their mother for all this time. Some mothers don’t hold on to their children they have that long, and there are some mothers that harm their children. So I’m going to say I was blessed,’ Quackenbush said.
‘I just need a miracle and everyone’s prayers and wishes.’

Eric and Danielle’s father Guy and Quackenbush’s ex-husband had a heart attack and died in June 2020 during the coronavirus pandemic, while his father Fred Lopez Sr. also died in May of that year from COVID.
‘It’s a pretty heavy duty reality,’ said Quackenbush’s brother, Fred Lopez, 58, said to the New York Post.
‘Danielle had a very difficult life and never quite recouped from all the deaths and the tragedies in our family.
‘Every member of my family has had tragedy. I think my family may have been cursed,’ Lopez said.
