Mrs Hinch, real name Sophie Hinchliffe, shared her concerns over her newborn son – who has been struggling in recent days
Mrs Hinch, real name Sophie Hinchliffe, revealed her son has been suffering from ‘either colic or even silent reflux’ as she took to social media to share her concerns. The cleaning guru told fans she has been in ‘the thick of it’ as has been pacing around the house worrying about her newborn.
Thankfully, the star, 35, managed to book a doctor’s appointment for Tuesday. According to the NHS, ‘Colic is when a baby cries a lot but there’s no obvious cause. It’s a common problem that should get better by around 3 or 4 months of age.’
They added babies might have colic if, while they are crying, they clench their firsts, they go red in the face, they’re windy and they bring their knees up to their tummy.

Writing over a grey background on her Instagram Stories, Mrs Hinch said she ‘learns something new’ as a parent every day. «But something I was very lucky NOT to experience with either Ronnie or Lennie was colic, silent reflux or allergy/intolerance symptoms.
«And it’s a whole different story with Vinnie. I’m in the absolute thick of it right now, it’s non stop pacing the floors, nerves and worrying. Yes the zero sleep is hard but it’s not that, it’s seeing your baby clearly so uncomfortable and wanting to take that away from them.»
She continued: «As a mummy it’s so hard and then the anxiety levels multiply into the thousands. Everything I’m reading online points to either colic, or maybe even silent reflux, allergy etc.
«I’ve booked an appointment for Tuesday to try and get some answers but to the parents going/gone through this.
«Gosh it’s so hard for so many reasons isn’t it. It really is an exhausting circle that goes round and round with no certain fix?!» An hour later, she returned to her Stories to share a picture of herself giving her newborn a foot rub at six in the morning.
«The amount of messages in my inbox about this [shocked face]. Thank you. When you’re in it it’s a whole new minefield isn’t it. It feels like a huge relief when it’s daylight outside and the house is up because the nighttime/evening flare ups are the hardest aren’t they. But Vinnie is enjoying a little foot and leg rub now.»
It comes after Mrs Hinch shared an adorable video of her newborn son meeting his brother, days after she announced that she had welcomed her third child.
Posting the video on Instagram, Sophie captioned the post: «We are all so in love. Never have I been so proud and so in awe of my beautiful little family. This to me … is life.»
Mrs Hinch already has two children, sons Ronnie, five, and Lennie, three, and the clip showed Ronnie and Lennie meeting his new brother and his sweet reaction to seeing the baby boy.
