The owner of an Instagram-famous dog was soaked in coffee by a ‘deranged’ woman who harassed her and her pet at a New York City park.
Milo the Pencil Dog has over 40,000 Instagram followers who adore him, but an unidentified woman at Riverside Park was not a fan.
Rimma, 27, described the absurd interaction to the New York Post: ‘My inner demons were burning.
‘She was clearly not in her right mind.’
As shown in the shocking video of the October 18 incident, the woman stood on the other side of a fence while Milo barked at her.

‘He’s uncomfortable with you, can you leave us alone?’, Rimma, Milo’s 27-year-old owner, said.
She told the Post the greyhound hardly ever barks, so he was clearly unsettled.
The woman walked away from Rimma and Milo. But she soon returned to throw her coffee at the unsuspecting influencer.

Before Rimma was drenched in lukewarm coffee, she said she and Milo were sitting on the grass of the Upper West Side park. Unprompted, the unhinged coffee-thrower came over to them.

Rimma told the Post the woman started questioning her about the way she was sitting.
‘Why are you sitting like that?’ the woman allegedly asked. ‘Do you need to use the restroom?’
‘There’s no way a normal person asks that,’ the confused owner told the Post.
‘She started talking to my dog, saying, «Yeah, she’s lazy,» referring to the fact that I was sitting on the grass,’ she added.
Rimma is still stunned by the incident and shared the video in hopes of identifying the culprit.
She said to the Post: ‘It blew my mind. Her goal was the bother me, provoke me.’

On Instagram, Rimma explained she had filed a police report, but was told there would not be an investigation because she was uninjured and did not have any details about the aggressor.
She explained to the Post she stayed calm and did not react rashly. ‘I know I have something to lose,’ she said.
But viewers were quick to express their outrage with the situation.
‘You have a lot more self control than me and I respect you greatly for that because man would I have flown over that little fence,’ one user commented.

Since the coffee-hurling meltdown, Rimma has continued to post her usual canine content starring Milo, who turned two in September.
