Footage from Greenland’s capital of Nuuk on Saturday has captured the first partial solar eclipse of 2025, which has also been seen in the UK, the US and Africa.
The UK saw a third of the Sun covered by the Moon, with a 40 per cent coverage in northern Scotland and Northern Ireland, while the star was covered by more than 90 per cent in North America.
The Royal Astronomical Society has said the eclipse is «still really dangerous to look at», and that it must not be viewed with the naked eye.
