The Center for Investigation and Prevention of Aeronautical Accidents will investigate the crash of a Passaredo Airlines (formerly Voepass) plane with tail number PTB 2283, which occurred on Friday, August 9th, in Vinhedo, São Paulo. Officials from the center have already been dispatched to the scene, according to the Brazilian Air Force.

The ATR-72 aircraft, carrying 58 passengers and 4 crew members, crashed on Friday in Brazil while on a flight from Cascavel in Paraná to Guarulhos in São Paulo. According to media reports, no distress messages were received from the crew regarding any issues with the aircraft.

According to the São Paulo Fire Department, seven teams are currently at the scene.
