Most recently, the Brooklyn-based mom took to the video-sharing platform to air out her advice on how you should drive if you suspect someone is following
She captioned the clip: ‘Private investigator tips.’
While sitting in her car and holding her rearview mirror, Patrice said: ‘See this thing right here? I want you to keep your eye on that on your drive home.
‘I want you to watch your rearview mirror when you’re driving home alone at night.’
Then, the safety pro noted that if you suspect someone is tailing you, make ‘three consecutive right turns’, if they do the same, they’re most likely following you.
‘Do not panic, okay?’ she said before explaining how you should handle the situation calmly.
Patrice advised you first try to get their license plate number, however she stated that if you can’t note it down, don’t worry.
She said: ‘If you can’t, that’s okay. Get on your GPS and go to the nearest police station.’
The content creator also revealed that if you did manage to note the plate number of the vehicle, you can use various sites like FindByPlate to look it up and discover who was following you.
Additionally, Patrice also suggested you run all of the license plates in the parking lot of your complex when you first move in in order to ensure that none of your neighbors might pose a threat.
At the end of the video, she said: ‘See who the hell you’re living with. Safety is paramount, remember?
‘Use a desktop or laptop. These sites are not mobile friendly. If you don’t have a desktop, everyone’s going to the library.
‘So go to the library and do your searching there. Adjust your crown. Queens, we have vehicle license plate searches. Yes!’
