The iconic house featured in the hit TV series Breaking Bad has gone up for sale for  a whopping $4M, as the owners hope its previous appearance on the AMC hit will boost the sale.

The three-bedroom, two-bathroom home has been described on the listing as one of Alburquerque’s ‘most famous landmarks’ that is recognised globally by millions of fans.

Breaking Bad was centered around fictional chemistry teacher-turned-meth-kingpin Walter White, played by Bryan Cranston

When White is diagnosed with cancer, he finds a way to support his family after his death by creating and selling his own crystal methamphetamine with his former student, Jesse Pinkman.

The owner remembered pizza boxes lining the sidewalk for the famous pizza scene, where Cranston landed the pizza face-up on the roof. Since then, the homeowners said it was difficult to stop fans from attempting their own pizza tosses or sneaking into the iconic backyard pool.

They owners didn’t shy away from the attention at first, and even took pictures with fans, but when the doorbell rang in the early hours of the morning their attitude changed.

Of course it’s Stacey’s family home in Barry, South Wales from the smash hit BBC sitcom Gavin and Stacey.

The owner Glenda Kenyon, 71, says her life has been transformed since her humble home was used in the show and was a ‘virtual recluse’ before fans started turning up on her doorstep.

The Welsh woman has lived in the small house for 35 years  before it was used in the filming of the TV favourite starring James Corden, Ruth Jones, Mathew Horne and Joanna Page.

In the early 2000s, TV bosses sent her and neighbours flyers to say they were looking for possible locations to shoot a new comedy.

Deciding it was a chance to ‘change her life’, she put her house forward to be considered and it was selected to be the home Stacey grew up in with her mother Gwen.

The modest home has been used in almost every episode of the popular BBC series since 2007 – and Glenda reckons she has been visited by 30,000 fans in that time.

She previously said: ‘Before the filming, my life was lonely. I did not leave the house often. Only to get food.

‘It was a lonely life – I was going through hell with the depression. I never had many people to talk to. Then the film crew came along.
