The A-list attendees weren’t the only thing under the spotlight at this year’s Golden Globes – with the food menu also the talk of tinsel town.
The annual film and television awards ceremony was held on January 5 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, kicking off the 2025 awards season.
This year, the ceremony featured a Michelin-star menu from the globally renown Nobu Restaurants group.
The Japanese restaurant is also a celebrity hotspot, and is frequented by many of the A-listers at the 82nd annual show.
A sneak-preview of the mouth-watering menu – and pricy plate – was shared on the Golden Globes Instagram account, being tested by food influencer Gianluca Conte.
Declared the ‘best chef in the world,’ by Conte, the extravagant menu featured Chef Nobu Matsuhisa’s signature dishes – including a special Golden Globe Roll.
‘The food, unmatched,’ Conte says in the clip, published three weeks before the awards.
‘The best chef in the world,’ he added.

As per the Nobu menu, the delectable menu – not including a specially made dish made for the Golden Globes – would cost just under $200.
Chef Nobu Matsuhisa prepared food for the 2025 awards show, with celebrities treated to a feast of:
- Seaweed Tacos with Caviar
- Yellowtail Jalapenos
- Sashimi Salad with Matsuhisa Dressing
- Miso Black Cod
- Tuna Nigiri
- Tai Matsuhisa Nigiri with Nikiri Soy
- Sushi loaded with Tuna, Rice, and Wasabi
- Golden Globe Roll prepared with Seaweed, Rice, Sesame Seeds, and King Crab and topped with 24-karat Gold Flakes and Caviar
Guests also weren’t left thirsty, with the Golden Globes menu featuring selections of premium champagne, wine, and water.
Attendees were treated to Moët Impérial Brut, RRP $50, Moët Chandon Rosé Impérial, RRP $59.99, and Saratoga Spring Water, RRP $3.99.
Nobu also catered the star-studded event last year, which marked the first time Japanese food has been served at the ceremony.
For the 2025 awards, the team ‘leaned more into minimalism,’ with Jitter Garcia, Vice President of Events at Dick Clark Productions told Hello.
Garcia added that they had the goal to set a ‘really beautiful canvas for Chef Nobu’s specialty menu – that really is the artistic focal point at the table.’

The tables, which seated 12, featured an eye-catching floral arrangement by Alice Lam from A.L Basa.
Lam, who made her debut at the ceremony, told Hello that the opportunity ‘came to me as a surprise.’
The florist opted for an elegant bouquet featuring Calla lilies, sweet pea and grass.
‘The goal of this arrangement was to design something that had movement, and an energy on its own even while the table doesn’t spin, and I think that the flowers have movement and so everyone at the table can be viewed 360,’ Lam shared.
She continued: ‘We also wanted something that felt seamless with the table – everything on the table is edible, you have the drinks, you have the food but that goes away and the flowers stay – so in every little angle on TV or in pictures you’ll see a little bit of floral, a little bit of grass or something that is a natural element to it all.’
The menu wasn’t the only price thing guests enjoyed at the Golden Globes.
All guests received a specially curated bag of pricey goodies from the luxury lifestyle magazine
This year’s collection of party favors has a value of $1 million and includes beauty products, fashion items, travel packages, and experiences.
