MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russian air defense systems on duty shot down two drones over the Belgorod Region and one over the Kursk Region during the past night, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Sunday.
The Russian Defense Ministry stressed that the Ukrainian drone attack was terroristic in nature.
«During the past night, an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack using an aircraft-type UAV [unmanned aerial vehicle] against targets in the territory of the Russian Federation was thwarted. Two UAVs were destroyed over the territory of the Belgorod Region and one over the territory of the Kursk Region by air defense systems on duty,» the ministry said on Telegram.
