A brown bear was captured on camera scarfing down little ducklings in front of screaming children at a zoo in Seattle last week.
The two-year-old bear, named Juniper, devoured the ducks while several children cried and smacked the glass to distract her at the Woodland Park Zoo.
The video begins with Juniper patiently watching the mother duck and her five baby ducklings by the pond.
She then plunged into her bear pond, going straight for the ducks, grabbing and biting the fluffy ducklings one after another.
Rachelle, a TikTok user who shared the video last week, mentioned it happened during her daughter’s birthday party on April 23.

Juniper is an orphaned coastal brown bear found roaming alone near an air force base in Anchorage, Alaska, according to the zoo’s website.
Her mother, who may have been hit by a vehicle, killed by another brown bear or illegally killed, was nowhere to be found.
Juniper, weighing 89 pounds at the time, was too young to survive on her own, so she was transported via Alaska Air Cargo and arrived at the zoo in July 2022.
Two years later, Juniper has grown into a large brown bear, appearing to be in good health as she reached for the ducklings with her long claws in the video.
She can be seen biting the ducks’ heads off and slurping them down before finally going after the mama duck.
She paid no attention to the bystanders behind the glass, who smacked and shouted in an attempt to distract her.
Although kids can be heard screaming in the video, they did not appear to be experiencing stress or horror.
‘That’s not nice!’ a girl shouted while another said: ‘That’s a good strategy.’

Rachelle assured her followers as she wrote in the caption: ‘We see wildlife doing their thing all over where we live. Our kids are not “traumatized.”’
It’s not clear if Juniper had been fed before she devoured the five ducklings, but zookeepers said she is known to have a goofy personality.
The two-year-old bear is boisterous, commonly seen with a stick or rootball in her mouth, FOX5 reported.
The video received thousands of comments from social media users, many of whom seemed to be amused by Juniper’s actions.
‘Bear was like sweet, Uber eats is here with my nuggets,’ one user wrote, while another noted ‘the way’ the TikTok video ‘kept getting worse.’
