The shocking moment two golf carts collided with each other during a Florida parade was captured on video.
Golf carts, decorated with flags and signs, took to a rural neighborhood in the Sunshine State to participate in a ‘flying golf cart parade’ – an event that traditionally consists of local golf players decking out their carts to parade around the area.
But chaotic video footage captured by an attendee proved that the participants may have taken the word ‘flying’ a little too literally.
In the 20-second clip, participating golf carts flew down the residential street in opposite directions.
The footage showed a yellow cart driving down the middle of the road – seemingly charging into a blue cart heading in their direction before they both swerved out of the way – narrowly missing each other.
But the next driver who approached the yellow cart wasn’t so lucky.
Just as the next two carts were about to collide, they both swerved their wheels in the same direction and hit each other with excessive force head on – sending the driver of the nearest cart flying through the air before plummeting against the windshield of the cart opposite.
The injured driver, who miraculously only walked away from the crash with minor bruising, was seen holding their head as they sat on the street floor while other drivers stopped to help.
