Dodgers slugger Shohei Ohtani just splurged $7.85 million for a modern mansion in La Cañada Flintridge, adding a luxurious pad to his new Los Angeles lifestyle.

This purchase comes hot on the heels of the baseball superstar’s blockbuster 10-year, $700 million contract with the Dodgers.

Real estate records obtained by the Los Angeles Times, which broke news of the transaction, confirmed the deal.

The seller was none other than comedian Adam Carolla, who snapped up the property for $7.32 million back in 2018.

Carolla previously told the Wall Street Journal that he was offloading the mansion following his divorce from Lynette Paradise.

Ohtani’s new crib is just a 20-minute drive from Dodger Stadium in Elysian Park, a sweet 13-mile commute for the star player.

At $7.85 million, this sale ranks among the priciest ever in the foothill community. Carolla originally listed the mansion for $8.99 million last summer, but an October price cut took it down to $8.35 million.

Built in 2013, the three-story home covers 7,327 square feet and sits on nearly an acre. Its sleek modern exterior opens up to midcentury-inspired interiors — blending stone, glass and wood under skylights and clerestory windows.

Ohtani’s new palace boasts a custom kitchen, an indoor-outdoor living room — and top-notch amenities like a movie theater, a sauna, a gym and a basketball court. There are five bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms, including a primary suite with a balcony and a spa tub.

Pocketing doors open to an outdoor lounge overlooking a swimming pool, a spa and expansive lawn.

Peter Owens of Douglas Elliman held the listing, while Jeanne Valvo of Coldwell Banker Realty represented Ohtani. Both were unavailable for comment.

After six years with the Angels, Ohtani took LA by storm in October with his historic contract, rumored to be the largest in sports history. March saw more headlines as Ohtani’s camp accused his translator, Ippei Mizuhara, of massive theft linked to illegal betting.
