Sonja Rasula has reconceived her long-running Unique Market as Unique World, a shopping experience she describes as “fresh and different” and unlike other markets. “I’ve remodeled the entire thing as a homage to the great, old department stores, which felt like curated presentations and more atelier-like,” she says. Instead of aisle after aisle of exhibitors, Rasula is curating exhibitors into groupings and presenting them cohesively: home, fashion, accessories, kids, stationery. Additionally, the event will offer interactive experiences including tattoo artists, tarot card readings, nail art stations and custom monogramming.
When: Noon to 6 p.m. Dec. 7 and 8. There will be a VIP preview from 11 a.m. to noon Dec. 7.
Admission: $20. Children 14 and younger, free. VIP admission, $50.
