Simone Biles won’t be making the same fashion faux pas twice.
Earlier this summer, the gymnastics star was slammed when she wore an outdated custom jacket of her husband Jonathan Owens – showing the Bears safety in a rival Packers jersey with the logo of his previous team featured rather prominently.
However, the seven-time Olympic gold medalist has apparently learned from her mistake, telling TMZ that she has ‘ plenty [of Bears gear] now.’
She ended the interaction: ‘So, don’t you worry, guys!’
Biles had worn the Owens-centric jacket to the Bears preseason game against the Bengals at Soldier Field on August 17.

However, Chicago fans quickly noticed a Packers logo on one of her sleeves, and some had harsh words for the Olympian.
‘Simone Biles should be stripped of all her medals after wearing Packers gear while cheering for the Bears,’ one social media user posted on X.
‘Yeah yeah I get it, her husband played for the packers and it’s an Owens themed jacket, but this is just wrong,’ another said.
Others echoed the sentiment, questioning Biles’ seemingly oblivious football knowledge.
‘With all due respect, Simone Biles gotta throw that jacket in the trash ASAP,’ another claimed. ‘How did she get in with that?’
‘Release her hubby now!’ one particularly furious Bears fan chimed in, while another added, ‘It’s ridiculously unaware of your surroundings and insulting to her husband.’

Ultimately, Biles seems unlikely to repeat her mistake, though she recently shared with fans that she will at times be too busy to cheer on her beau in person due to her post-Olympic duties.
‘I don’t know how many games I’ll be able to make because in a few weeks we go on tour, and if you guys aren’t aware, it’s the Gold Over America tour. I think right now we’re doing about 32 stops,’ Biles said on TikTok.
The tour, a traveling gymnastics exhibition which will feature a host of gymnastic stars including Biles and her gold-medal-winning USA teammates, Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles and Hezly Rivera, will kick off on September 16 in Oceanside, California.
It will make 30 stops across the United States, finishing in Detroit on November 3, which coincides with Week 9 of the NFL schedule – the midpoint of the regular season.
