It may now be clear where Prince Louis gets his moves from as William’s ‘dad dancing’ at the Taylor Swift concert last night was just like his son’s cheeky shapes at a Jubilee event back in 2022.
The Prince of Wales delighted Swifties as he broke out some moves during Taylor’s performance of Shake It Off at Wembley last night.
Prince William was joined by his children George and Charlotte at the sold-out gig but his youngest son Louis stayed at home with Princess Catherine.
This, however, does not stop striking similarities being drawn between the father and son duo’s dance moves.
Prince Louis was filmed moving his waist with both his hands in the air during the Jubilee Pageant to mark the 70th anniversary of the succession of the late Queen Elizabeth II to the throne.

The prince, then aged four, put on an animated display, pretending to be a lion, bickering with his cousins and even sticking his tongue out to his mother Kate Middleton.
Mike Tindall later said Louis’s scene stealing antics at the pageant were due to a sugar high from eating sweets.
‘Louis, he was just wanting to have fun. And my two are always mischievous so it’s trying to keep a lid on,’ the father-of-three said.
‘There were a lot of sweets out back though, so there was a real sugar high.’
The images of William dancing to Shake It Off have been described as very different to Harry’s demeanour when he and his wife Meghan Markle attended Beyonce’s performance at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles last September.
While the Duchess of Sussex appeared to be enjoying the show, Harry appeared dejected and often looking at his phone rather than the stage.
Meghan had reportedly attended a Taylor Swift concert in the same LA arena the previous month, though no selfies with Swift have emerged.

Taylor kicked off the London leg of her record-breaking Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium, performing to fans, celebrities and politicians alike – as well as her American footballer boyfriend Travis Kelce.
Prince William and megastar Swift have long known each other – the pair shared the stage at Kensington Palace to perform Livin’ On A Prayer with Jon Bon Jovi at a charity event in 2013.
The pair alongside the children and Kelce posed for a selfie together before the concert kicked off.
The Prince and Princess of Wales’s official X account posted the adorable photo with the caption: ‘Thank you Taylor Swift for a great evening!’
Soon after, the popstar posted a selfie with the royals and her boyfriend Kelce to say: ‘Happy birthday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start’ in a touching message to the heir for his 42nd birthday.
In the photo, Kelce is seen wearing his Team USA Olympics hat.
Comments posted on X, formerly Twitter, in response to footage of William dancing included: ‘This is my favourite thing ever!!! I never knew I needed to see Prince William dancing to Taylor Swift!’
Another poster wrote: ‘Prince William is a Swiftie. Immense dad dancing there.’
Last night’s show came after the military band at Buckingham Palace earlier in the day performed a rendition of Shake It Off to mark the Eras Tour arriving in the UK capital for three nights this weekend ahead of another five in August.

Also among those thronging to last night’s Wembley Stadium show were Taylor’s supermodel-turned-actress friend Cara Delevingne.
Fellow royals Zara and Mike Tindall as well as Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer and his wife Victoria were also at the gig.
Sir Keir said in a post on X, formerly Twitter, that he was taking a ‘Swift campaign pitstop’ – a break ahead of the July 4 general election – to enjoy the concert with his wife.
Ms Swift was clearly overwhelmed by the 89,000-strong crowd in the capital last night and said: ‘Oh my God, London, look what you’ve done. What better way to spend a Friday night than in the most exhilarating city in the world?’
Her first show in London was always going to be special for her as she shares a close affiliation with the capital after she called it her second home for the six years she was dating British actor Joe Alwyn.

Friday night’s concert was the first of three sold-out dates at Wembley, with the international sensation returning in August to perform another five.
During the show, Swift reminisced about gigs at King’s College London and the Shepherd’s Bush Empire that she performed earlier in her career.
She said: «You just continued to support me more and more and the rooms got bigger then bigger and now you’ve done this, sold out three nights in June and five in August.
‘I’m not the best at maths but I think that means we get to play Wembley Stadium eight times.’
