A’ja Wilson celebrated her 28th birthday in Paris amid the US women’s basketball team’s hunt for gold.
The WNBA star was serenaded by her teammates with the Stevie Wonder version of ‘Happy Birthday’ during an Olympics practice session on Thursday.
‘An Olympic birthday,’ USA basketball captioned a video on X, which showed the team singing to her as she did a little dance.
She later took to her Instagram Story to share a snap of an engraved bottle of Dom Perignon, featuring her initials.
The athlete also posted a photo of the Eiffel Tower, which she simply captioned, ’28.’

It comes one day after Team USA beat Nigeria 88-74, where Wilson dropped 20 points.
They’re set to face Australia in the semifinals on Friday, as they continue their quest for a gold medal.
Earlier in the Games, the team was brutally trolled by a Caitlin Clark after the WNBA sensation Clark was controversially left off the star-studded American roster.
Clark has taken the league by storm since being drafted by the Indiana Fever.
Her presence has led to an explosion of interest in the league and many thought she was deserving of a spot on the Olympics roster.

However, the selection committee decided to overlook Clark in favor of more experienced players who have proven they know how to win on the international stage.
Despite that, one Clark fan took his opportunity to troll the Americans as they warmed up to play against Japan last month.
The fan, wearing a Nets and Lakers jersey, held up a sign that read: ‘You need Caitlin Clark to beat us.’
Unfortunately for Japan, the fan’s sign was inaccurate as the Americans kicked off their Olympics campaign with a 102-76 win.
